LIBRARY: Comparative regulatory framework analysis for main common challenges from all stakeholders within the innovation community in each participating country/region
The activity involves conducting a comparative analysis of the regulatory frameworks and addressing key challenges within the innovation community across participating countries or regions for regulatory burden or gaps for testing new technologies. This analysis will focus on regulations related to living lab sites as regulatory sandboxes for testing technologies, and joint transnational or international projects.
Desk research and external expertise, such as financial and legal assistance, will be utilized to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the regulatory landscape.
Additionally, benchmarking and the identification of best practices in regulatory sandbox policies will be undertaken. Partners in participating countries will gather data and conduct meetings with relevant authorities providing deeper insight but also meeting on the EU level with relevant institutions will be undertaken in order to gain holistic picture of the context.
This activity aims to foster a conducive regulatory environment that promotes seamless collaboration and innovation within the innovation community.
